1. I've got a lot of friends who supported Friedman's run for governor some years back.
I've got a lot of friends who supported Friedman's run for governor some years back. I say this with a measured amount of guilt-- I'm going to enjoy watching them eat crow...

2. Yeah, jeez, I think Kinky sucked in Willie Nelson too.
In the Gubner's race, I mean. Although, iirc, it was already pertty obvious that Kinky waswellkinky.

3. Is this an indication that Kinky went to the dark side
or that Kinky is maybe just not a very deep thinker? :3

8. Right on both counts...
I actually worked with the guy a few years back.

he's neither deep or a thinker, much like cement head perry.

Any wonder why moron kinky supports him?

10. If you enjoy listening to a half wit pontificate about himself all day
while spewing acrid cigar breath, then yes it was quite an experience.

He tries so hard to be the next O. Henry, it's pathetic.

The only thing that keeps his name alive is his half wit attempts for running for office, because frankly, I have read his stuff and I find it painful.

I haven't heard from Jello since 2003 (No, not personally -- I took my young son to see him when he was in town).

20. That's not Jello Biafra...
it's a protester from the '68 Democratic convention.

21. Two things:
1)Visual orientation is not my strong suit. I always took it for granted that it was J Biafra, without vetting it.

2)I googled Jello Biafra and Google offers no images. None available. I the scroogled Jello Biafra and found lots of pix, including this one...

http://www.fanpix.net/picture-gallery/jello-biafra-pict...

Hence my misapprehension.

Thanks for straightening me out before I continued to make a fool of myself (which happens quite often.

5. Well that's it, Obama might as well toss in the towel right now
A fake cowboy supports another fake cowboy for president.

Kinky is right at the top of my list of Friedman's who are full of shit - along with Milton and Tom.

14. Was there ever any doubt? A-hole FRIEDMAN is why MoFo GOODHAIR "won" by 39% in 2006
Edited on Thu Aug-25-11 04:54 PM by UTUSN
The 3rd Way, NADIRites, always looking to seem smart herded themselves to FRIEDMAN with his "art" pastel posters of himself.

The multi-married (3 or 4 times) Grandma STRAYHORN, two of whose boys got jobs in Shrub's shop, took the schoolteachers away from the Dems.

*************QUOTE*************

http://www.politifact.com/texas/statements/2011/jun/14/... /

In 2006, Perry prevailed with just 39 percent of the vote. Among three major challengers, Democrat Chris Bell garnered 30 percent, Independent Carole Keeton Strayhorn got 18 percent and Independent Kinky Friedman landed with nearly 12.5 percent.

17. Yep, the field was so large that Goodhair squeaked in yet again
Two peas in a pod. It wouldn't surprise me if kinky got a nice kickback for entering the race from Perry's camp.
