5. sorry bob, this was done a few days ago
I don't think it helps to bash Congress. Notice that Pelosi makes the list. Is she somehow worse than Jenkins who doesn't make the list? Is Harkin a worse Senator than Moran just because he is richer?

One of the most liberal Senators was Mark Dayton (now Governor of Minnesota), and he was also one of the richest. If Grayson was still in Congress, he would make this list. If Ted was still alive, so would he. I'd rather have a Ted Kennedy as a Senator and one of the 50 richest than have Scott Brown as a Senator and not one of the 50 richest.

This list just adds to the Republican slanted message - Congress sucks, the Government sucks. Better to focus on policy and show how some policy helps the rich (the top 20%) and other policy helps the bottom 80%. Republicans are generally voting to help to top 20% even if they are not one of the 50 richest members of Congress, and most Democrats who are in the 50 richest are voting for policies to help the bottom 80%.

At least, that's how it oughta be, if only Obama would stop promoting "compromises" that help the top 20% and only trickle down to the bottom 40%. http://journals.democraticunderground.com/hfojvt/160
