Bachmann claims she worked for the IRS to ‘know’ her ‘enemy’
http://www.rawstory.com/rawreplay/2011/08/bachmann-claims-she-worked-for-the-irs-to-know-her-enemy/

How radical is Rep. Michele Bachmann? The Minnesota Republican claimed Thursday that she went to work for the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), after graduating with a degree in tax law, because it was part of a secret plan to take them down.

“I went to work in that system because the first rule of war is ‘know your enemy,’” she said Thursday in South Carolina. “So I went to the inside to learn how they work because I wanted to beat them.”

Bachmann has taken some heat in recent days from supporters of Congressman Ron Paul (R-TX), who’ve criticized her for being a tax collection attorney for the IRS before she came to politics.

There doesn’t seem to be any evidence that her latest excuse is true, but she has said repeatedly that her experience in the IRS helped form her views favoring a simplification of the tax code.

2. Explaining 1040s to callers to the IRS 800# doesn't necessarily provide you
with the institutional "secrets" or "inside information" necessary to destroy the agency.

3. I certainly understand her position needing to simplify the tax code - her simple
mind would struggle with a 1040EZ

5. You're not fooling anyone, Michele.
Anyone except the Tea Baggers and easily-enamored Republicans. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice...must be GOP.

7. She was just being submissive! (Barf!)
Isn't what you said, Michele? 'I didn't want to do tax stuff, but herp derp I hadz to! My husband told me to! Derrr!'

The last thing we need is another backwards idiot in the White House - especially someone who believes in the dumb crap she does. Get a brain and stop claiming that you have to listen to your husband you creep. Damn...

8. What about the farm subsidies, Medicare, and money for farming orphans?
Sounds like a Welfare Queen to me. She's spent her adult life on the government teet she claims to hate.

9. She wanted to beat government all while joining them....seems to me
she has a lot to say after sucking up all that grant money and salary from the government she despises.

13. I doubt if she was much of an attorney.

She got her law degree from a bible school, Oral Roberts U.

She was likely no more than a glorified paper pusher.

14. She worked for them because no one else would give her a job
The idea that the media considers this imbecile as a serious candidate is sickening and depressing.
