Winners and losers #7
Edited on Mon Aug-15-11 11:08 PM by center rising
Winners and losers for last week.

Winners;
1, Michelle Bachmann. She won the Iowa straw poll last week, which probably makes her the frontrunner at least for now. Don't get me wrong, if Bachmann becomes the GOP nominee, Obama can cruise to victory because America is going to find out real fast that Bachmann is certifiably crazy. But winning the straw poll certainly gives her some momentum.

2, Rick Perry. Having just entered the race last week, Perry is certainly got the media all abuzz over him. Perry has some gravitas in the Republican party. After all, praying for rain and secession talk because that evil, nasty black man is in the White House certainly will resonate with the Christian right teabaggers, which according to Frank Luntz, makes up about 35% of the American people, (And that goes to show you how nuts Luntz is).

Losers;
1, Tim Pawlenty. Looks like ole Timmy boy got beaten by someone who is even crazier than he is in Iowa last week. T-Paw announced on Sunday he was getting out of the race because of his piss poor showing and lack of money. Well Tim, your 15 minutes of fame are over. You can go back to Minnesota and hibernate for the winter.

2, Bashar Al-Assad. While the world looks the other way, Al-Assad continues to butcher his own people, and no one really wants to put a stop to it. All that has come is weak protests by the world, making them look stupid in the face of a madman. How long will the killing go on before someone finally steps up and takes out this piece of shit dictator??

3, Jon Huntsman. Face it Jon, the message you want to project is not even resonating with the Republicans. The guy has done everything he can to make himself look like a serious candidate for the presidency, but he has no traction, no money, and worst of all, no chance. Jon, you never should have left your job as ambassador to China, and run for president. Save yourself the trouble of getting embarrassed, and drop out now!!

1. Your post is pretty odd......
I was watching Jon Stewart and everyone seems to be ignoring Ron Paul eventhough he came in second. WTF is up with the boys at Faux News and the rest of the MSM?
