People like them because DU is where Democrats gather.

I think we both try to follow the rules, but most of us break them. In case you haven't noticed, the third party rule doesn't seem to be enforced these days. I've never advocated voting 3rd party, but I understand the sentiment. Again, calling DUers whiners isn't a call for unity.

21. I imagine conflating whining and frustration...
I'd imagine that conflating whining and frustration is a common mistake quite easily made. As it also flippantly dismisses and petulantly minimizes those concerns, I'd hazard a guess that it allows a person to feel much better about themselves at the expense of others, too.

28. If that's how you feel about folks who are willing to vote for a Democrat over a Republican
virtually in all cases, but who only give time and money to Democrats who they believe in, then what do you call people who most of the time vote Democratic except those times when they forget to vote, or when they think the Democrat is too liberal so they vote Republican instead? Obama's Base?

33. People who threaten to vote
third-party and/or cut off support for Democrats are not tea baggers but
the same kind of people who put us in this situation in 2010 by trying to "teach politicians a lesson" by putting more rethugs and teabaggers in congress.
