Maybe he knows something we don't....
It's official, Texas Governor Rick Perry is running for president.

The AP reports that the Lone Star State Republican signaled his intentions to vie for the White House on a conference call with South Carolina voters on Saturday.

"I full well believe I'm going to win," Perry said about an hour before he planned to kick off the campaign with a speech in Charleston.

In a posting on his new campaign website explaining why he wanted to take on President Barack Obama, Perry contended that "America's place in the world is in peril, not only because of disastrous economic policies, but from the incoherent muddle known as our foreign policy."

Americans, he said, "will not sit back and accept our current misery." He said "a great country requires a better direction" and "a renewed nation requires a new president."

2. I am not about to predict who will get the nomination,
but if Perry is the candidate it could make for a very interesting election. Especially if Democrats do the kinds of ads that he would deserve.

“Now, the man on the stand he wants my vote,
He's a-runnin' for office on the ballot note.
He's out there preachin' in front of the steeple,
Tellin' me he loves all kinds-a people.
(He's eatin' bagels

He's eatin' chitlins
He's eatin' bullshit!)”

9. The man scares the fuck out of me. Talk about "worse than Bush".

And speaking of what he might know that most of us don't...

Look, the Bilderbergs have been covered in the (international) mainstream media lately; so... it's not exactly the sphere of conspiracy/dungeon-worthy type of stuff at this point. Anyway, supposedly Perry has been picked as a Repub frontrunner at the very least, and possibly our next President.

10. He scares me too...
he reminds me of the evil revival tent prophet that you see in the movies. While he's "preaching" he's stealing, and diddling young girls. American Gothic...I think that was the name of a tv show...and it was the sheriff played by Gary Cole...evil to his core. That's what Rick Perry reminds me of.
