The S&P Downgrade - Was it a Preemptive Strike Against Prosecution? (video)
It seems phony, doesn't it, the downgrade? Now the Justice Dept. is trying to require these lousy ratings agencies to document their reasons for what they say they are doing. Maybe SP was trying to save SP some money by screwing the U.S. and the world? American investor, Warren Buffett, owns rival agency Moodys, and S&P just downgraded Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway stock along with the U.S. and a dozen other U.S. mortgage banks. The reason they gave? Those banks hold U.S. debt.
