I wonder what the injured will face
Edited on Mon Jan-10-11 11:09 PM by woo me with science
in our health care system after this tragedy?

I wonder how many, if any, have disability insurance.

What happens if your insurance is tied to your job, but you are too seriously injured to return to work?

How much red tape will they face, on top of the emotional devastation their families will endure? What sorts of deductibles?

What will their premiums be? How much will this tragedy end up costing them and their families?

How many were insured?

1. They all have pre-existing conditions now, that's for sure.
Most will likely lose any jobs they had, and with it any insurance they had.

Gosh, ain't America a wonderful place?

5. Too high profile to fuck with. Any claims will be rubber stamped through.
Probably with a notation suggesting denying one of these claims would be a very bad career move.
