"What if Ron Paul were to win the nomination

1) He won't.

2) If he did.... I would vote for Obama. Paul's nomination would indicate that this nation was so far over the edge and full of ignorance that it would deserve to have Obama finish his war on America."

You may not have noticed, but over the last few months, the Hannity Forums have become a somewhat tolerable place of discourse and distancing themselves from the increasingly insane and hateful Freeperville.

Of course, Lee Kington has always been the exception to the flow. He's a dictator who has been emulating Rimjob for years. This is just his latest shit-fit.

As such, his bold declaration didn't sit well with the left-leaners, moderate Republicans, libertarians, and teafolk on the site. He pretty much offended everyone.

The result is a 20 page (at time of posting) shit storm. Not a bad read if you're completely cynical about politics.

2. I'd love to see Ron Paul win the Republican nomination
It would cause some major in-fighting within the conservative movement and could possibly force Obama to move to the left on foreign policy and the drug war.

5. Worth reading.
Anyone who's planning to be active in the run up to 2012 should really read that thread, think a bit, and then read it again. It's the clearest demonstration I've seen of the two main camps on the conservative side of things.

7. Look for Ron Paul to win the Ames straw poll.
And it won't mean a thing in the long run.

8. I wouldn't be surprised if he did. But nobody will care even if Perry doesn't declare the same day.
