3. Primates just love shiny shit.
And that's all gold is, aside from its legitimate uses in electronics and etc.

15. If you know of a better, more universally accepted money please let humanity know.
Mankind has been waiting for you to reveal it to us a few thousand years or so. Don't hold us in suspense any longer.

6. do you still have it?
My sister thought it was too volatile and took her money out. she says she'd be worth $2,000,000 in gold alone if she had left it. she's pissed.

5. It's all that talk of the weak dollar. Any insider who knew about S&P's plans probably could have
made a killing on the gold market. Maybe the DOJ should investigate.

7. I personally think the slide last week should definitely be investigated.
It is way too suspicious to be a coincidence. Someone knew about it and sold a bunch of stocks to get out of the way of the category 5 shitstorm.

13. I think that article was from the Kitco site
and the $2500 prediction was made by Goldman Sachs.

14. Some of us have been watching it all day- it's unbelievable
It bounces down after new highs and then comes back even higher!
It's quite a show... not to mention history in the making.
You can watch here, if you are so inclined:

Scroll down to the World Spot Price live chart.
