People are out to ruin this country
And all the Dems can say is we need to work together with these people.

Don't work with the people intent on destroying, fight the fuckers instead, please.

5. AGREE
The Republicans have made a deal with the devil disguised as the TEA PARTY. And now we are seeing more of the results of that deal. It's no surprise though and the goal from the beginning has been to get rid of the black man in the White House! Remember "Take Back Our Country?" And everything since. Racist no doubt.

9. No one studies history any more
They want to drown government in the tub and swish it down the drain because it is a union of the people, for the people, by the people, NOT THE CORPORATION. They want to privatize do wn to the state and cities. We are about to return to the Feudalism-state. People are going tobe owned by the company store. We can't let it happen.

10. Amen.
They are not "acting in good faith" nor are they going to "do what's best for the country". Ever. I want to scream every time President Obama utters those words.

11. Then please explain how we can get any legislation passed in the Senate...
We do NOT have 60 democrats in the Senate.
To get any bill passed these days due to GOP obstruction we have to have 60 'yes' votes to invoke cloture.
If the democrats refuse to work with the republicans then NOTHING at all will get done.

14. So, you want Congress to just shut down completely until 2013.
And how is that going to help anything?

17. no. offer an alternative. not just go along with a defeatist attitude. You'd be suprised how much
can be accomplished doing just that.

18. Oh bull. The Democrats have offered lots of alternatives, bills, appointments, etc....
and the GOP has obstructed EVERYTHING that the democrats have been trying to do.

Put the blame on the GOP where it belongs and stop blaming the democrats.

Have a nice weekend.

15. Nah.
Ruining the country is just an inconvenient side effect of their single-minded pursuit of power and wealth.

Don't take it personally. It's just business.

23. In 2000 and 2004 the GOP got a blank check to do whatever they wanted.
And their message was only amplified with 9/11. In 2008 - they didn't get what they wanted and the public told them to go fuck themselves. Instead, they became the biggest sore fucking losers imaginable and morphed into something far scarier than anything anyone could imagine - the tea party. Unfortunately the Dems didn't get the blank check to do whatever we wanted. What goes around doesn't always come around.
