2. That would be a fairly inefficient way to create energy.
It looks like these sculptures use air in order to move. I'd imagine that windfarms do a much better job using air to create energy.

4. What Struck Me Was The Inventive Ways This Guy Came Up With To......
use the air/wind energy to make his sculptures move. It seems that we've been focused on the windmill type design and haven't really thought that much out of the box. This artist may have discovered other ways to harness wind energy and I think scientist that are experts in wind energy should be in contact with this guy and pick his brain and study his sculptures for new ideas. It appears that this guy used trial an error and discovered a lot about how to harness the wind to make his sculptures move. Perhaps he stumbled on a new and more efficient way.

Is their any way to get this video viral. This should be a story on the evening news.

11. Lucas and Spielberg with all of their millions$$ and
...millions$$ in CGI could not equal what this artist has done with bamboo and string. Fascinating.

13. From the BBC site
Kinetic sculptor and artist Theo Jansen builds 'strandbeests' from yellow plastic tubing that is readily available in his native Holland.

The graceful creatures evolve over time as Theo adapts their designs to harness the wind more efficiently. They are powered only by the wind and even store some of the wind's energy in plastic bottle 'stomachs' to be used when there is no wind.

15. The "possible new energy sources" you are seeing are not new
It's called wind.
