104 degrees Fondly Farenheit in Kansas City today!
We've got an ozone warning and a flood warning; other that, it's a lovely day!

How is it where you are?

By the way, do you recognize that "Fondly Farenheit" reference?

4. Here in Houston my thermometer in the shade is saying 102
Edited on Mon Aug-01-11 05:39 PM by Tx4obama

The thermometer is under a covered patio out of the sun - no telling what it would say if I were to put it out in the yard in the sun ;(

We NEED RAIN lots of it ASAP!

5. Well I do not envy you the flooding
but could you send a little to the west? About 65 miles please?

It was 109 here today with the index 112 and tomorrow is predicted to be worse. I have cracks around my water pump that are an inch and a half wide and deep enough that I can't see the bottom and it gets water there several times a day. My pastures are gone, burned to the ground by the unrelenting heat and sun. I am desperately trying to keep my old horse alive, the others don't look so good either.

It rained all around us the other day when the "cold front" came through and we were only 98 degrees but the humidity made it impossible to breathe. I could deal with that if it had actually rained here. So, long story short....if it rains could you go out and try to blow it to the west a little please? :-) Hello neighbor. Don't drive into rushing water and stay in as much as possible. Liberals in these parts are pretty scarce.
