HORRY COUNTY, SC (WMBF) – The President of the Grand Strand Tea Party has been arrested by Horry County Police after allegedly selling several counterfeit programs.

According to a police report, the victim told officers he purchased six Rosetta Stone programs from Anthony Jack Trinca, 61, between May 29 and May 30 for $125 each through Craigslist.

The victim said he purchased two of the programs in a parking lot in Market Common on May 29 and then the other four on May 30 at Trinca's home along Palmetto Glen Drive in Myrtle Beach.

According to the victim, after he sold two of those programs himself, he learned they were counterfeit and said he returned the money to the customers. When he tried to get his own money back from Trinca, Trinca allegedly refused and said it was the victim's problem.

1. Doesn't that blatant disregard for intellectual property rights
run counter to St. Ayn's creed? How would the protagonists in either of her dreck-riddled novels have expressed their individuality if anyone could glom onto their ideas & do whatever they please with them? It's obvious this common criminal didn't worship at the feet of that harpy, or if he did, he didn't pay close enough attention to her purported devotion to 'individualism.'

4. Teabaggers/republicans all think
they are above the rules they make for us. The rest of us need their guidance. It's pretty simple in their twisted little minds.

2. Well he's been leading a counterfeit political movement, this isn't a surprise
Just like most right-wingers. Screw over a customer, then pontificate about how regulations are horrible things.

3. You just can't make this stuff up. Satire stumbles stunned from Horry County.
