5. It didn't specifically say that
Edited on Fri Jul-22-11 09:07 PM by Skip_In_Boulder
But I think that is what we're talking about. I am waiting for CNN or MSNBC to update their sites to get more information.

Update: Now AP is saying this: BREAKING: Death toll rises to at least 80 in Norway youth camp shooting, police say.

3. Incredibly sad

6. Is this translation in any way accurate?
"Yes, we love this country as it rises up, wrinkled, weather-beaten, over water, with the thousand hjem.Elsker, love it and think, on our father and mor.Og the saga night that lowers, lowers the dreams of our land. Norwegian man in the house and cabin, thanks to your great God! The country he wanted to protect, though the dark as ut.Alt what the fathers have fought, the mothers are grumpy. Does the Lord still relaxed, so we won, we won our right."

It seems somewhat odd, but this is what I got with a right click and then, "translate to English".

16. No - it's a very hard song to translate, as part of the language exam in college I had to translate
it and dis okay, and that's after living there or a few years;) there are a few errors in some words too (for some reason mother and father were not translated... Mor of far). Wikipedia has a half way decent translation of it too.

13. I know what you mean
I can pretty much hang when it's just the adults slaughtering each other because we should know better. But when innocent children start getting dragged into it I have a real problem with that.

10. so this right-wing extremism
kills as many 80 youths who were children of the labor party?

Independent Norwegian television TV2 reported on Saturday that the Norwegian man detained after the attacks had links to right-wing extremism.

Police were searching a flat in west Oslo where he lived, TV2 said.

"If true this would be pretty significant - such a far-right attack in Europe, and certainly Scandinavia, would be unprecedented," said Hagai Segal, a security specialist at New York University in London.

Survivors described a scene of sheer terror at the camp, which is organized by the youth wing of Norway's ruling Labor party. Hundreds of young people were eagerly awaiting a speech the prime minister was to give there Saturday

11. The cause is insanity. I don't know whether being a RW extremist made the man insane,
Or if he joined extremist RW groups because he is insane.

20. That doesn't address my question, but it begs another...
Are criminally insane people drawn to Glenn Beck, or does listening to Glenn Beck make people criminally insane?
