Sarah Palin was proud of her marksmanship skills on her "reality" show
Edited on Sun Jan-09-11 04:38 PM by jpak
and publicly exhibited herself using a rifle with a scope to gleefully kill a caribou - after "targeting" Democratic Congressfolk with crosshairs during the 2010 campaign.

How can anyone claim that her gun-toting rhetoric/actions and violent political imagery had nothing to do with her devotee's terrorist activities?

it boggles the mind.

1. Did you watch it? She has nothing to be proud of
Took five shots to bring down an animal that didn't even move. Asked her dad if the rifle would "kick". Admitted later that she didn't know how to sight the rifle in.

She lost a lot of credibility with both sides that night. Those who are opposed to guns and hunting naturally opposed the whole episode. Experienced hunters and gun owners discovered that she knows jack shit about the sport.

Palin is a low life piece of shit. IMO she deserves to be prosecuted as an accessory in the murder of a federal judge for her little cross hairs stunt.

2. Her father had to work the bolt for her!
Hunters didn't care for that episode. From a hunting blog:

1. Why can't she load her own gun?
2. Why did she ask if a rifle kicks?
3. I have a problem with the shots she took.
4. GET YOUR FINGER OFF OF THE TRIGGER, PALIN.

3. She's a phony
Levi Johnston in 2009: “She says she goes hunting and lives off animal meat — I’ve never seen it. I’ve never seen her touch a fishing pole. She had a gun in her bedroom and one day she asked me to show her how to shoot it. I asked her what kind of gun it was, and she said she didn’t know, because it was in a box under her bed.”

4. If she's proud of those marksmanship skills, I worry about her pride
She had a scoped rifle in her hands. The first thing she did was asked if it kicked--ALL big game rifles do. The next thing she did was shoot over a standing animal's back. WITH a scope. Then her dad had to cycle the bolt on the rifle because she couldn't do it. She then proceeded to use up all the ammo in the gun without hitting it, fired again with a different gun and probably handed the rifle to another person for the killing shot because that caribou was gonna die of old age before Sarah Palin managed to shoot it.

Sarah Palin can't shoot.

5. Even more to the point
if you suspect that your rifle is so far out of whack that you can't hit the animal the absolute last thing you do is fire off four more shots as you are more likely to wound the animal and have it run off somewhere to die where it can't be recovered.

Life-long hunter, my ass.
