Study shows voter turnout can be increased with simple word change
July 19, 2011 by Bob Yirka report

(PhysOrg.com) -- A new study by social psychologist Christopher Bryan and his colleagues at Stanford University shows just how easily people can be manipulated using their own vanity; by doing nothing more than changing the word "vote," to "voter," on a survey, Bryan et al, have demonstrated that it's possible to increase voter turnout in real-world elections. The team has published their results in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences.

1. Yes, but wanting more voters is a partisan position...
:sarcasm:

2. And when the choice is between an axe stroke and a slow death...
...by a thousand cuts?

Whilst the promise is that the axe will land on "another's" neck, the choice is a no-brainer.

And sadly, it might well be the right one, since it offers the greatest chances of leaving enough survivors to actually do something when the dear peepul finally wake up to what is being done to them.

I do not like it. I do not like it at all. But Obama's "Hope" left people with the hope that they might be able to presever at least some of what they have, and the "progressive" plans are all designed to keep that hope alive.

It will only be when they have nothing else to lose that there is a chance that the people might rise up and attempt to overthrow their corporate overlords.
