what state has the worst type of republicans?
I mean which state produces the most fire-breathing vile hard-right republicans in your opinion? For me it would be either Georgia or Texas.

Georgia's delegation currently consists of
Paul Broun - surprised this guy's a doctor.
Phil Gingrey - he is also a doctor. If you listen to him talk he sounds dumber than a box of rocks
Tom Price - just a blowhard. He is also a doctor (what's with all these doctors)
Lynn Westmoreland - another RW jerk

Texas has also produced
Louie Gohmert - just completely batshit crazy. I wouldn't want this guy to be my judge
Ted Poe - he was also a judge. I wouldn't want him sentencing me.
Sam Johnson - old windbag
Jeb Hensarling - just a blowhard
John Culberson - same as Hensarling
Conaway, Olson and Thornberry - not controversial but very RW
Neugebauer - looks way too stereotypical a republican (pasty white 60 year old guy) and I despised his comments about Bart Stupak
Marchant - fundie moron
Sessions - complete and utter hack

A thread predicated on the notion that some places in the country suck worse than others! Not enough divisiveness on a midday morning in GD to suit ya?

4. You really like to post comments on the value
of everybody elses thread today don't you?

At the very least you should start your own thread so you can yammer about the lack of quality on the site today so we don't have to read an off topic reply posted by you.

6. Oklahoma by far
our two senators take the cake and they get to eat it too. Dr tom coburn has never seen a pussy he didn't like so all he thinks about is in going in the hole, (country money wise,) :-) and inhofe just changes the rules as he sees fit. Break a rule, hell no problem just change the law. sorry bastards both of them.

so I vote Oklahoma. It didn't always be that way, Oklahoma used to send good people to washington but no more. it all changed about the time we started counting our ballots with electronic, black box, voting machines.

I won't give the sorry bastards the respect my capitalizing their names would give them . strew'm both

18. Mary Fallin
While Lt. Governor she was caught doing her hipo control escort down by the lake there near ok city. She and he both got a divorce over the deal and they didn't marry each other afterwards either, just getting a little on the side, hell whats that gonna hurt LOL
She's a dandy no doubt

I guess to her nothing wrong with getting a little on the side. From that alone I don't trust her for a second. No telling who'll be blackmailing her for no telling what. We don't need politicians like that anywhere ever.

12. i still think Texas has the deepest bench of jagoffs
I can probably name a bunch more

Bruce Alger - when he was elected in 1954, he was the first republican elected to congress in Texas in over 20 years. There was a rumor he was involved in the Kennedy assassination.

James Collins - he represented North Dallas in the 70s. He was hated by everyone in Washington.

Phil Gramm - HACK

Bill Archer - sort of a snooty country club type republican who represented houston suburbs in the 80s and 90s

Tom DeLay - a sociopath and a crook

Dick Armey - complete blowhard

Then you have the morons in the legislature like
Dan Patrick in the senate and people like Paxton Riddle Berman Laubenberg etc in the state house

Don't forget the governors
Rick Perry who is basically GWB's evil twin
George W Bush who himself who although he seemed like a nice guy, he had the worst judgment of any modern president
Bill Clements who was basically a greedy oil tycoon and just a huge jerk.

13. My vote is for Alabama--Repubs took down the Dem gov there, over NOTHING
just becasue they had the power--they took him down over a courtesy appointment he made to an unpaid volunteer seat on the board of education. Four Republicans had previously made the same appointment without being thrown in jail.

Then repub appointed judges turned down his appeal. All because a couple of them are friends with Karl Rove--who is from Alabama.

14. Its a tie between State of Denial and State of Confusion
The former state has a population of people unable to focus on reality due to allowing their financial interests to undermine their basic understanding of reality and the latter is inhabited by religious zealots that are continually at logical odds with each other because they don't understand the true fundamentals of their religion and will, for example support the criminalization of abortion and the liberalization of the use of the death penalty in the same prayer to Jehovah or Yahweh depending on how educationally challenged they are.
