2. Not me
The Murdoch crime family is a scourge, and this fall they are having is a great, great thing for the world. This is the story of the month, the politics is just more politics. This is important.

3. Just the tip of a VERY black iceburg, I suspect
You don't have a meteoric rise like his without a lot of skeletons in your closet. I'm sure he had to expand his and buy a few more rooms, in fact.

4. Probably. I could guess 3 or 4, but naming by name would be a call out...

One rhymes with Bozo, and another regularly pretends but fails to abide...

6. I think it's possible
But even if it's true, who cares? They're responsible for building the company into the yellow journalism factory it is today. They created the environment that is responsible for the crime, so they're morally guilty, even if not legally.

10. It came from the top. If the U.S. had journalists who looked under the rock
that gives Fixed News its "shady-ness", I wouldn't be the least surprised if its bank records showed a multitude of payoffs (& possibly blackmail).

11. Well, since it has been revealed that the son authorized the payment of a massive
settlement in one hacking instance, that was a million bucks or more, I'm guessing that he DID know.

12. even if they didn't initially - a) they set up a culture to make it allowable... and b)
clearly they closed their eyes (deniability) to let it keep happening. Their hands are dirty. I sort of think Rupert's first name has morphed into J Edgar.

15. I think it's remotely possible they didn't know.
I don't think for a second they would have disapproved of it or put a stop to it if they had found out, though.

I should say I think it's remotely possible they didn't know about it while it was going on. I'd be willing to put money on their having been aware of and involved in the cover up.
