Democrats for "meaner" government check in here! How mean can we be?
Cutting entitlements (Mom! Get your walker! Walmart wants you in early today!) is mean enough to show we've earned our new slogan, but it's not enough to keep it. How else can we be mean? End child labor laws (intrusive government do-gooding)? End laws pushed through by the hippie environmentalists (interference with private property)? The more we can work together on this, the meaner we can be. Give us your best ideas! Let's do it! Let's show the world we "mean" it!

4. Nah, not enough
Anyone with an income that doesn't rhyme with -illion needs to turn over their paychecks to the nobility who make this country great.

2. Minimum wage has to GO
Gubermint shouldn't be dictating how much business HAS to pay workers. For that matter, why do employees have a right to be paid a salary at all? Isn't that theft of company profits?

29. Just goes to show that if you give workers an inch, they'll take a mile. If it's not $$$,
it's benefits. They're insatiable.

5. I take it you listened to the President's News Conference?
:wow: he really laid it all out where the cuts for the "Sacred Cow" programs of "both parties" are going to come from. "Entitlements, SS, MEDICARE, MEDICADE." He didn't happen to get to what the Repugs "Sacred Cows" are specifically that would have to be cut.

8. I say we should let employers pay in "Scrip" again. If people are willing to sell their soul to the

company store, I think letting them would be a sound free market principle.

and accommodations?

They need to pull themselves up by their bootstraps.

And, with social security all but abolished, the severely disabled will be forced to get jobs, which will lead to greater capitalist innovation, such as, for example, the invention of devices that can help wheelchair bound people pick lettuce by allowing them to creep along the ground and cut lettuce. An added bonus will be the increase in inexpensive labor because of increased labor competition. A win-win all the way around!

See, the system works! God Bless Ronald Reagan, the Republican Party, Corporate Democrats, and Corporate Government!

23. Easy, and there may already be some support for it.

Just re-index the cost of living - Bernie Sanders says that one maneuver alone will impoverish 245,000 more people.

Then increase the age for SSI - hey, people are living longer, they can be hungry and in poverty longer, eh? That could make life miserable for at least another half million or so people. And with a little weasel-wording we can keep everyone in office that is there today.

Don't remember where I read it, but there is nothing easier than implementing trickle-up poverty.

And that's just mean.

20. Defund the USDA. Monsanto has its own scientists who know whats fit for human consumption. When the

GMO's and pesticides and unsanitary farming practices start giving people giant tumors and/or anal leakage, consumers in the free market will vote with their dollars. And they won't need USDA guidelines or peer reviewed University Journals for research either...

Old people need to check in and check out. Soylent Green if exported could help balance our trade deficit. Besides retirement will suck anyway without Social Security and Medicare.

30. Start repealing child abuse laws, Enact more immigration laws like SB1070
Promote CP in schools & at home, while suppressing studies which expose the dangers. Turn back anti-discrimination laws. Repeal the Civil Rights Act and give racists more protection by the government, as per Ron Paul's wishes. Suppress global warming research.
And that's just a start, folks.

Seriously, we need to wake up here, this is exactly the direction we're headed in.
