So How Are You Preparing For a Post Debt Ceiling Life..

..... I don't see the two party's coming together and if they do do the middle class will be the ones who get their eggs boiled.

Its a shame that Obama and Pelosi seem at different ends of the book....we all know about Cantor on Bonner.

So how are you preparing for the impending shaft.... I pray democrats do the right thing...

1. I bought even more seeds and expanded my garden
Can't go wrong canning, freezing and drying enough vegetables to pack the basement and chest freezer full.

5. I'm letting mine die
Had high hopes for it.

But real temps here have been well above average and look to stay over 100 degrees for some time. It was 109 here yesterday.

Gardens don't produce well in that kind of weather - and the cost of the water to keep them alive is more than the produce they yield.

7. Same here.
Been trying to stock up and can and freeze my little fanny off for the last 2 years. One year too wet and all nasty produce yet I worked with it and did it. Last year was just awful for various reasons. Yesterday it was a heat index of 120 in the shade. Hard to keep things going. We may need everything we can save. Gonna be like this for a while. Good luck to you.

2. Eggs? Boiled? Yummy, but the middle class can't AFFORD
fuckin' eggs any more. How about some nice, boiled carpet grass with a side of dandelions?
