"Where Else Are They Going To Go?"
That's been the thinking for decades by the Dems regarding their base when they are readying to shaft us. And especially now after the 2010 election and the disaster of Con governance that has been visited upon us, that notion is more true than ever. We can't even afford a protest vote by not voting. This has too often been a calculation on the part of the dem leadership. There are hints out there today that we may be shafted again by people we thought we could trust. We will see...but if we are there's very little we can do about it. To quote Emmanuel, it will be another "sit down and shut up" moment for progressives....uUnless we can figure out a way to change the landscape.

1. Nowhere, but at least we'll have some fun stomping on the ruins.
Might as well, there's nowhere to go and no way to accept what may be coming.

2. Well
You might want to check out what the president has done since he got elected.

http://www.jackandjillpolitics.com/2010/10/president-obamas-244-accomplishments/

His biggest problem is a congress that seems to be bought and paid for by big corporations and that includes some democrats. We need to start fixing things from the bottom on up, but since corporations have the most money they seem to be able to corrupt just about anyone who gets elected!

Now I know how you feel, but I also know that many in 2010 didn't bother to vote, and look what it got them! My honest opinion is if we can take back the house, keep the senate, and re-elect president Obama, we may see some more of his accomplishments come to be! I really think he will take on a whole lot of things that he wasn't able to in his first term, if we don't have the republicans blocking him at every move he makes.

The best way to change the landscape is to find good candidates to run in 2012 for the house, and the senate. Without congress on our side we will have a problem!

4. Its not just Congress bought and paid for by the corporations, its also the executive and legislativ

e branches. All 3 branches march in lockstep to the corporate agenda. No checks or balances.

6. Hey, Dems, here's how to find out:
Just vote for cuts to Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid. Then sit back and watch where your loyal followers go.
