Rethugs want nothing short of complete destruction of American society and government

Watching the way that rethugs are so beholden to large corporate interests, and dead set against anything that would remotely benefit the middle- and lower-class, I've come to the conclusion that they want nothing less than the total collapse of America. It's no secret that many on the far-right favor a very strict theocratic system, one that would be practically impossible to impose under our current Constitutional structure. So they need to start from scratch. Therefore, they deliberately adopt policies knowing the disastrous effect those policies will have on the country. They want things to get so bad that the country begins to dissolve into anarchy. It's basically a false-flag operation, only on a much more sinister scale. They're more than happy to sit back and watch as people begin to rise up out of desperation and anger. They'd love to be able to swoop in and "rescue" the country from total collapse. Of course, that "rescue" means taking drastic measures, effectively scrapping the Constitution for a new system of government, one without that pesky "separation of church and state" clause, and many other freedoms severely curtailed or removed altogether. After all, in a crisis situation, you can't have protestors hindering your ability to do what needs to be done, right?

The only problem is that try as they might, they haven't quite gotten the population to revolt. This is why we're seeing them ratchet up their attack plan. Governors like Scott Walker, Rick Scott, Rick Perry, and Rick Snyder (what a bunch of dicks - sorry, couldn't help it) continue to wage war on the working class, the unemployed, the poor, the elderly, etc. They brush aside their own state laws in favor of large corporate interests. You have rethugs in Congress who would literally prefer to let people starve to death or die from exposure rather than spend a single dollar to help them. One of the rethug mantras is how bad public education is, many of whom have actually proposed eliminating the Education Department. They continue their quest to disenfranchise minority voters through intimidation or by eliminating their right to vote period.

I really believe they are just waiting for an opportunity to declare a state of emergency in the United States, suspend scrap the Constitution, and institute their own form of government, with the backing of right-wing elements within the US military. Hopefully there would be some commanders who would refuse to go along with this cabal. Either way, if the rethugs get their way, we're in for a long, long fight.

13. Our Cultural Revolution

In China the professionals, such as doctors and scientists were stripped of their responsibilities and forced to work as farm labor etc. If you got sick, you went to someone who used to be a grocery clerk. This was all intended to demolish the social structure so the new regime could have total control without interference from the intelligensia.

Here, our teachers are being denigrated, scientists are not to be believed and that is just the beginning - anyone who gets in the way of the corporate structure will be stripped of their credibility. Then, the coutry can be remade as the corpporations desire - only the largest corporations of course.
