I think the gopper race is going to be Romney and the anti-Romney (Bachmann)
Although it is early, it looks to me that it will be a two-way race to determine who will lose to Obama. Romney is the clear front-runner and next in line. Bachmann is the clear bat-shit crazy 'outsider'. They will bloody each other up pretty well between now and next spring, and it will be delightfully entertaining.

The Stiff and the Kook. Let's get ready to rumble.

1. For now
and later it may be others. This is all a side show at this point and an unimpressive one at that.

3. Utterly unimpressive.
They are going to have a hard time grabbing headlines without losing all credibility.

6. It's pretty clear he is running.
But, he is basically a southern Mittens. I don't think he'll get the support he would need to take it from mittens.

4. She'll clearly rally the bat-shit crazies better than anyone else. She makes
Romney sound like a far left winger.

5. I think that will be her role. Bring in the crazies, then leave them to
dance with the stiff.

8. I see Huntsman vying for VP. But, there is no way there could be two
mormons on a repuke ticket.

10. that may be the deal, since he has no real shot at the top spot
he may have already been promised the second slot if he torpedoes Mittens

9. Bush-Cheney, McCain-Palin, Romney-Bachmann
A stiff and a kook does appear to be a recurring GOP theme in Presidential politics.

16. I guess we'll see.
Before the midterms I wouldn't have given Bachmann a second thought but now I'm not so sure.

12. watch out for Perry, in about a month or so.

There are reports that he's been "picked" (by, ahem, TPTB) as a GOP front-runner.
