GOP chairman charges Democrats steal election causes stir - GOP bans election day voter registration
http://bangordailynews.com/2011/06/10/politics/state-house/gop-chairman’s-charge-that-democrats-‘steal’-election-causes-stir/?ref=latest

Tempers flared in the state Senate on Friday after the chairman of the Maine Republican Party suggested Democrats “steal elections” by taking advantage of Maine’s policy allowing voters to register at the polls on Election Day.

A proposal to end Maine’s 38-year-old policy of same-day voter registration was already one of the most contentious of the legislative session.

Lawmakers have spent hours debating whether the bill would improve the integrity of Maine’s election system — as Republicans insist — or disenfranchise tens of thousands of voters — as Democrats suggest.

On Friday, the partisan tensions boiled over in the Senate thanks to comments from Maine GOP Chairman Charlie Webster.

.... reason which is to in act a law that will suppress democratic voter turnout
for the up coming elections in 2012. This is part of a nationwide program
to help the republicans which are a minority party to keep control over the
majority of the American people. In Ohio "they" passed a voter I.D. so as to
keep people from "voting twice" even though that never happens and it is
just about impossible to do under the current system.

I find it more than a little rich that the party of W bush, which stole 2 national
elections in Florida 2000 and in Ohio 2004 and yet now under some bogus
ass lie about Democrats stealing elections the rights of legal voters are being
stripped away.

Where is "the Liberal Media" on this crap?

Want some real election fraud?

5. When people don't vote, Republicans win.

Why spend hundreds of millions of dollars on campaigns when you can just make it harder for people to vote?

This goes well with my comment on the subject:
