1. I actually thought he was doing some intelligent coverage of
it, about the possible ramifications politically to himself and the Party. More so than the others I've heard who have covered it. It's all ANYBODY is talking about, so he's got to, too. Ratings, you know.

Although I DID turn to CNN and they were actually reporting from Libya - now THAT was refreshing!

2. I get what you are saying,
(he is almost up to 25 mins now), but, really, does he have to have guests on that describe AW as a nasty and arrogant. I mean, really. This is making me sick.

4. I just sent this..
Dear gawd Chris, How much longer are you going to chew on the AW bone? How about you do some journalism and talk about Clarence and Ginny Thomas and how they cheated on their IRS taxes? How about talking about Diaper Dave Vitter and how he received a standing ovation from the repubs when he came back to the fold?

The Weiner story is getting old. MSNBC has become Fox Lite and is unwatchable...You and Ed need to chill. Weiner lied, no one died.

6. EXACTLY
i wonder if this much time was spent on the Mark Sanford story, which, in my opinion, was much, much more salacious, and ratings worthy (if that, indeed, is all they are after).

I mean, abandoning your post, (therefore, country) because you are obsessively in love with an Argentina beauty. Far more compelling. Way, way worse than AW, and while Sanford is not running for re-election, he didn't resign either. If I am remembering this correctly.

7. That was an eye-opener to me -- never knew that about
Weiner. To be fair to Tweety, he had the guy on as a judicial expert (is that right? something like that) and the guy just volunteered the info.

I like Weiner, but he knows this is what happens if you get caught doing this shit. It happens to them all, and we just have to weather the storm until the next shocker hits the news. :hi:

but believe me, as soon as Current TV goes live with Olbermann, I am so off MSNBC.

9. I get Tweety twice, once at 2pm, and again at 4pm. At 4pm
I flipped to CNN and they were doing coverage from Libya! It was so good to see something OTHER than politics! Some REAL reporting! Before MSNBC's new tag "Lean Forward", it was "the place for politics", whereas CNN always positioned themselves as NEWS (not that they always succeeded, but not as non-stop politics as MSNBC). I think that might be a big difference in MSNBC and other networks. Current sounds as though it'll be focused on politics, too. I'm looking forward to it.
