Bill Maher’s “Real Time” returned Friday night, and, unsurprisingly, he had plenty to say about what he called former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin’s “un-campaign,” especially about her mixed-up retelling of the story of Paul Revere’s midnight ride.

“She should not be on vacation, she should be in summer school,” he said. “I mean, Paul Revere was warning the British? About gun control? And Washington, apparently, was crossing the Delaware to bomb an abortion clinic.”

Maher summed up Palin’s chances, should she decide to run, succinctly: “I think anybody could be president in this dumb fucking country.”

I had read the text and thought oh that can't be right, I then watched the video and I was stunned. She is an idiot.

He said "when it gets down to 2 candidates the American public holds their nose and votes for the one they like the least"
I sure he meant to say "they vote for the one they hate the least". Also, if I were Obama, I would be a little bit insulted at his "anyone could be president in this dumb fucking country" comment.
