So for whom am I supposed to root?
So Palin is doing this thing of hers, that narcissistic sociopath-type thing, and so it has been reported that Fox's Ailes is not happy with her and wants her out of Fox and out of the Race for the Presidency. What's more, it seems that CNN has joined the ranks of the disaffected by showing Palin in the worst light that they can, although just when she hits what you might think would be the nadir, she drops down another step or three. And of course on MSNBC, Tweety is representative of the schizy manner in which she is portrayed, alternately tingling his third leg and vilifying her.

So I guess I'm supposed to cheer the likes of Ailes, Doocy, Megan McCain, air-headed hostesses-who-purport-to-be-newscasters, and Bill O'Reilly of course, who heads up this brain trust. So I should be grateful when a guy like Romney or Thune or Pawlenty shows up and can, at the very least, form a complete sentence which (almost) makes sense.

this is very disturbing: this is how they might win it all. The relief that it's not Palin or Bachmann will drive many Independents to one of the aforementioned creepazoids. Scary stuff!

1. I guess just sit back
and watch the show. It's kind of like watching a playoff game between two teams you don't really give a shit about. Do it for the entertainment value, such as it is. I think it will be facinating to watch all of this play out. If it is true that Ailes has that much power it should be interesting to see how he takes Sarah down.

3. Eventually it's going to dawn on the most hysterical Palin fan
that although they await the first glimpse of the tour bus with the same fervor they show the rest of the country performers, when she gets there she delivers absolutely nothing. Bottom line, the woman has no marketable talent, just a tour bus and a fawning press.

I have to wonder if the slobbering mainstream media are sticking it to Ailes, though, by continuing to cover her.
