Bill O'Reilly claims Sarah Palin ran Alaska 'Pretty Well'. Ummm, Bill, She Quit
O'Reilly: ...the rap against her is she's not smart enough to be president, but millions of Conservatives like her and believe she is qualified to run the country. As Talking Points has pointed out in the past, the Governor did a pretty good job running Alaska, did she not?

2. Look at it this way -- she did one excellent thing for Alaska as the state's governor: she quit.

He's a quitter she's a quitter, they're a quitter, now on twitter. Wouldn't you like to be a quitter too?

For those who are old enough to remember:

10. I would also posit that she QUIT because she was in way over her
pretty little head. And knew it.

11. "millions of conservatives like her"
Yes, the biggest proof of just how unqualified she is. Conservatives like idiotic figureheads. To wit: Reagan, Dubya, and now Palin.

12. The only reason that statement can be made
Edited on Thu Jun-02-11 01:29 PM by Blue_In_AK
is because Sarah really didn't do much to run Alaska. We had (and still have) a bipartisan majority in the Senate who managed to pass some pretty good bills while she was governor that she took credit for. She was so "absent" even during her couple of years in office that people in Juneau took to wearing "Where's Sarah" buttons.

The best thing about Sarah at that time was that she wasn't Frank Murkowski, who left office as the most unpopular governor in the country.
