Tim Tebow on Hannity promoting a book. Talking about how hard he works
how much of a role model he is and how he is the first there and the last to leave and how that makes his teammates in the NFL respect him, etc.

The dude barely played yet.

Accomplish something in the NFL first dude. Sheesh.

1. This shameless self promotion (embellishment and narcissism)
is typical of the born again mob. Anyone who had read "The Family" will understand what many of us have seen for years, the fundamentalists
believe that they are on a mission from God and therefore they are the most important people in existence.

"self-promotion is not a godly trait" by pointing out that is precisely what some god, according to one of the holy books, is doing.

25. well the mind of college football fans
Tebow always been a blow hard Christian that was good in a college system. Soon he'll be a Christian blow hard that failed in the NFL. But me thinks he will always have the Christian blow hard thing to fall back on. A certain sector of the country seems to not be able to get enough of that crap. It's too bad the quality people in the NFL that have interesting things to say get so little press.

17. If he can't correct some serious flaws in his passing game, Baby Jesus will never make it
in the NFL as a QB. His NFL future might be some playing time for New Orleans as a blocking back when Heath Evans retires.

18. It all comes back to egomaniacism, I swear.
There are people like Tebow and Hannity who are just shameless self promoters. I think understanding this concept - how they work - may be the key to our salvation.

22. Considering how many play college football and how few make it to the
professional ranks, 'getting there' is an accomplishment.

Not being much of a football fan, I recall something I read that not very many get much playing time in their first season, sometimes two.

26. Make his NFL teammates respect him?
To them, he'd be nothing but another dumb rookie, and will get treated as such.

So far, Tebow has accomplished exactly as much in the NFL win column as I have.

Nada.

30. Painting those bible verses on over the black basecoat on his facepaint IS hard work. One bad brush

stroke and it'll smudge and then he has to start all over again.

31. Not quite so
First of all, I am an SEC fan, TN to be exact and I have disliked Tebow from the day he stepped on the field. Let's give him his due though. He does work very hard, and he is not claiming that he is a great NFL QB, only that he works hard. He is the first there and last to leave. He does put a great deal of time in trying to improve. He is not saying that gets respect for being great, just for working hard. I still don't like him as a player, and I disagree strongly with his politics, but let's be honest. The man does work hard. He gets my respect for that, but nothing else.
