Soak that in for a minute.

Hochul(D) won tonight with a simple message of rejecting Ayn Randian "screw the poor and elderly" politics.

The Ryan plan is the greatest gift that Democrats could have ever received this election cycle.

1. This is great news, the teabaggers are being heavily defeated.

5. Democrats have been representing suburban Buffalo for quite some time.
Edited on Wed May-25-11 07:11 PM by Heywood J
I don't know where you're getting your information.

Brian Higgins           Democratic           January 3, 2005 – present

Samuel S. Stratton           Democratic           January 3, 1973 – January 3, 1983
Matthew F. McHugh           Democratic           January 3, 1983 – January 3, 1993
Louise Slaughter           Democratic           January 3, 1993 – present

Every suburb of Buffalo (plus the city itself) except for Amherst and parts of North Tonawanda (same district) has been represented by a Democrat since the class of 2004 was sworn in.
