Beck: 'We are starting to see two Americas...it's a difference between good and evil'
Overheard Beck talking about how he feels that two different Americas are emerging, and how he feels it truly is a battle between good and evil.

Hmmm, and I wonder why this is? Couldn't be because of Beck and his ilk spreading hatred and propaganda 24/7, could it?

13. He's certainly not on the side his followers think he is.
Deception is the calling card of evil people, and most other people can't see it before it's to late.

This art of deception is what makes evil a real phenomena, and psychopaths like Beck are fully aware, cold blooded and calculating; they get pleasure out of screwing with the minds of their victims.

It's here, baby
Two classes of Americans exist today - the ones that get bent over the table for every minor rule they unknowingly violate, and those who are bound by no rules at all.

10. Way to totally dump any sense of responsibility...
But your Honor! It's not my fault! I know this is the 4th time I've been caught selling crack and the last time I was here you told me that if I did it again you would send me to prison but I just DIDN'T KNOW!

People are not the idiots you claim them to be

12. That sense of responsibility is very selective
Sell crack? You're held responsible to the nth degree.

Engineer the destruction of the economy for personal profit? Suddenly, no one can be held responsible.

Funny how that works.

2. well, on one level I couldn't agree more with him
There are at least two different Americas emerging, and I'd certainly call one of them evil.

6. There have always been two Americas
The rich and powerful vs. everyone else. We might have had delusions that the US was a monolithic culture but it never had been. Pick your dividing line - race, wealth, power - whatever one you chose, the US as any culture, is divided. When times are good it is easier to ignore the lines, especially when your group is among those on the top tiers.

Beck and his followers are beginning to realize that they, white working class, formerly middle class, people are no longer on top or have a chance to get there. But the followers are being manipulated to believe that they are being held down by those below them rather than all being squashed by those who really are at the top.

Maybe with the over reach of the GOP and the Tea Party some of the followers are figuring things out but I'm afraid that they have been so brain washed they will still blame their problems on Obama and the Democrats instead of placing blame where it belongs.

21. Evil Beck. He reminds me of the creepy guy in the Twilight Zone episode

that climbs into his national guard uniform in a disaster and tries to assault a woman. I think he gets his just deserts.

But in Beck's version the disaster, and his role as evangelist, never ends.

22. This is how the right wing and their media arm have characterized
Democrats for years. One of the main reasons why there is very little civil discourse in politics these last few years is for this reason. It's been drilled into the right wing followers that the other side is "evil" and trying to destroy America, etc. This has been their plan. If they divide us along party lines, then it'll be harder for us to work together when we're really all just "have-nots".
