Joplin, MO: I think the tornado tore through the city WSW to ENE
From what I'm hearing on the scanner, it sounds like the monster tornado was moving on a course of about 60° or so.

We know St. John's hospital was wrecked (bottom left), and the police and fire personnel are referring to Wal-Mart, Home Depot, and the Joplin High School in the past tense.

Shit, this is bad.

If the tornado was a mile wide, that's about 3 hash marks on the scale on the bottom left of the picture.

Shared hardship it seems.

Hopefully there will be shared benefit as many help the many areas in hardship.

15. There appears to be nothing left of the Wal-Mart.
I'd like to think it was closed on a Sunday, but the one in my town is open 24 hours. ;(

There's another term also. And they keep talking about 20s. What's that?

9. 10-20 is common slang for a location
often referred to as a "twenty", as in, "proud2BlibKansan, what's your 20?"

10. West end probably farther north
The weather channel guy was just north of the hospital, and noted at some point the hospital probably was on the edge. When they panned the camera north, devastation as far as one could see.

Looks like it was a nearly E-W track.
