Because after this international high profile case it turns out that Strauss-Kahn is innocent and was falsely accused, which I doubt, the credibility of almost every future rape victim will be called into question more than it already is.

And this is already a very serious problem.

that is how much of a handle they do NOT have on rape that they have to give such an outrageous spread.

everything being thrown at this woman is step by step the routine of what defense does with a rape victim. her life is on hold, a mess, as this man has his defenders glorifying his violence. wrapping it into great seducer.
