Christie Disapproval Rating Rises as New Jersey Residents Get to Know Him

(Bloomberg) Governor Chris Christie gained detractors among New Jersey residents who previously were undecided about the first-term Republican, a poll showed.

Christie scored a 49 percent disapproval rate in a Monmouth University poll released today. The finding was 9 percentage points higher than the figure in the most recent Monmouth poll, in February. The governor’s approval rating was unchanged, at 47 percent.

Less than half of those surveyed, 46 percent, were familiar with the town-hall meetings Christie has been holding to explain his budget, his 2 percent property-tax cap and his attempt to reduce pay and benefits for New Jersey’s unionized public employees. The governor, 48, is scheduled to make his 17th-such appearance of 2011 today in Middlesex County. ...........(more)

4. A REPUBLICAN who cut EVERYTHING for everyone except his rich friends
While screaming "WE'RE BROKE" Christie gave a tax cut to millionaires, handed out $261 million to the owners of the unfinished Revel Casino in Atlantic City, gave another $200 million in tax breaks to one of the richest families in North America to complete that hideous mistake in the Meadowlands, Xanadu, while at the same time cutting education by $822 million, cutting tax relief for seniors thereby raising their property taxes by 25% in one fell swoop, cutting aid to cities and towns that forced drastic cuts in essential services like police and fire, all the while as New Jersey's unemployment rate actually rose, property taxes climbed a record average 7% for everyone across the entire state, even while Christie killed 60,000 jobs by ending the ARC tunnel project thereby forcing New Jersey taxpayers to pay back the federal government $271 million already spent on the project, and that after losing $400 million in Race to the Top funding for education through nothing more than Christie's own abject stupidity, while Christie's top advisers started a political action committee that illegally accepted unlimited donations in a blatant pay to play scheme that was abruptly ended when the New Jersey Legislature began to investigate it, and all of that is just a small sampling of what this incompetent, corrupt idiot has done in only his first 16 months in office! THE LIST GOES ON AND ON.

Yet this fool is spoken of in political circles as if he's a serious contender for national office!

America, if you believe that then you'll get exactly what you deserve just like the state of New Jersey is for being foolish enough to elect this disaster.

2. Good
This New Jersey girl wants him gone but is patiently waiting for 2013.

In the meantime the whole NJ statehouse is up this year and we need to give Christie a veto proof majority so he can't veto moving NJ forward.
