In 2003, when Ahhhold was being groomed to push Davis out, his love-child was 2 yrs old

Since that child was a child of a "household staffer", Maria probably threw her a baby-shower, and may even have raised her wages to cover extra costs of daycare... Maybe she even brought the baby with her while she worked. Maria's daughters probably babysat this child, played with him/her (without ever knowing that the child was their own sibling)

This sort of thing may be concealable from the wife, but no doubt SOMEONE/some people high up in the GOP had to know about this.

No one runs for high office without being investigated, especially if it's the GOP doing the investigating.. They LOVE this stuff


When he ran for re-election his "extra" child was in grade school, and the mother of the child was no doubt being "taken care of" in exchange for her silence.

Makes him not much more than a GOP John Edwards, doesn't it? The difference is that Ahhnold was able to pay for it all for a decade without arousing any undue suspicion.

It also makes him a sneaky adulterer, since the woman was married, and passed the child off as her husband's.. How very John Ensign of him.

Miss Shriver moved out of the family's Brentwood mansion earlier this year after Mr Schwarzenegger acknowledged the child is his, according to The LA Times.

"After leaving the governor's office I told my wife about this event, which occurred over a decade ago," Mr Schwarzenegger said in a statement issued to the newspaper. "I understand and deserve the feelings of anger and disappointment among my friends and family. There are no excuses and I take full responsibility for the hurt I have caused. I have apologised to Maria, my children and my family. I am truly sorry.

"I ask that the media respect my wife and children through this extremely difficult time," the statement concluded. "While I deserve your attention and criticism, my family does not."

The Times did not publish the former staffer's name nor that of her child, but said the staff member worked for the family for 20 years and retired in January.

In an interview Monday before Mr Schwarzenegger issued his statement, the former staff member said another man - her husband at the time - was the child's father. She said she voluntarily left her position with the couple "on good terms."
