Hmmm, seems kind of odd. Especially having bombs going off in Seoul and China. Maybe Al Qaeda's revenge attack?

Definitely not AQ in this case. I

If I were to hazard a guess, I would say that the Chinese attack might be the work of some in China who are fed up with the way the government controls everything...especially when its riddled with corruption.

Asfor S Korea..maybe its their northern brethren sending a message that they are still a pesky force to be reckoned.

My sympathies to the victims

6. The difference being...
We have control over whether or not we smoke cigarettes. We can't control whether Jihad Johnny is going to blow himself up next to us.

It's the same reason people are less comfortable flying in a plane versus driving - when you're driving you have control over your own destiny. If the car breaks down, you pull over to the side of the road and call for help. When you're flying you have zero control, and if the plane breaks down at 35,000 feet you're screwed.
