12. DuMont!
Our first TV was a DuMont. Right under the brand name logo was the model name: "High Definition." Seriously.

7. Well shit. Two of my youngest daughter's favorites are "Blazing Saddles" & "Smokey & the Bandit".
She just recently turned 16. I have two other daughters (17 and 19) and they like movies from that period as well. The middle one is a classic rock fan and it freaks me out that she knows my music better than I do.

16. I was a young married woman with a 6-month-old
baby when JFK was assassinated. At that time, the news was not up to date on current happenings. My uncle, who was a truck driver, came by to give me the news while on his route. But I did have color TV at that time.
