Republicans say they'll reject any nomination for the Consumer Protection Agency.
I just heard this on the break during Hardball. They explained that they think the agency has too much power.

As I understand it, the Republicans are again on the record as fearing the day consumers have a voice in government. I already know how they feel about corporate representation, and the Republicans continue to paint themselves as the party of big money. Why any barstool republican would vote for them thinking they watch out for him is beyond me.

4. They are stomping all over my rights as an American.
I feel they are breaking the oath of office and should be treated as traitors to this country unless they have something legitimate against the person nominated for the post. They have a duty to do right by the American people and if they find they can not do that then they should resign.

7. Republicans want to level the playing field.
Multi-billion dollar corporations against the individual. In the Republican playbook, that's a fair fight.
