Oily Taitz Birthers to federal court: Obama faked citizenship, ineligible to be president
A group of die-hard "birthers" took their conspiracy theory about President Obama's birthplace to a panel of federal judges Monday, urging the nation's second-most-influential court to consider what they say is evidence that the president has faked vital documents all his life and is ineligible to be head of state.

Obama last week released an official copy of his Hawaiian birth certificate, putting to rest the concerns of most of the voters who had been swayed to suspect that he wasn't a natural-born U.S. citizen and therefore wasn't qualified to run for the presidency in 2008.

But Buena Park minister Wiley Drake and the so-called birthers' legal spearhead, Orly Taitz, argued before a three-judge panel of the U.S. 9th Circuit Court of Appeals that the federal judiciary needs to step in and enforce the Constitution's requirement that a sitting president be born in the United States.

-----

Taitz brandished an array of documents she contends show that Obama has falsified his birth certificate, used an illegally obtained Social Security number and provided misleading information to the Selective Service System that oversees military draft issues.

3. Why are these people allowed to keep on suing and suing?
Isn't there some kind of a rule that says people declared as vexatious litigants are banned from filing lawsuits?

7. Yes, there is, and it is likely to be invoked very soon
but right wing pockets are deep and they'll just go out and find some other fool with a law degree to file the suits. I understand the empty suits at Righthaven might be looking for a new scam soon.

4. What a judge is going to tell Obama he can't be president?
Man that would go over real well. If you want to be known as the judge who disappeared, then you make that ruling.

5. Perhaps the Court should introduce a taxi-meter system...
..with a display tallying by the minute the additional thousands of dollars in Court fees and fines they're accruing the longer they talk.

8. I imagine being a judge can be a rather boring job
and then days like this come around to make your job feel magical.

9. (sarcasm incoming)...Can you really blame them?...
(Sarcasm OFF)...Every time this President has a good idea, and then actually gets something DONE on it, it just pisses them off more.
After the last 48 hours this White House had, can you IMAGINE how big the Crow feels that just got jammed into their collective craw?

THIS is the one they will have to choke on until election day, and by then even the moderates that still associate with that Party will have "opted out", so-to-speak, and the only ones left will be so babblingly, frothing-at-the-mouth furious-angry stoopid, they probably won't even remember to go vote.
Let her and hers scream it from the mountaintops, cause the way I see it is that the village idiot needs to be given a microphone WHENEVER possible, because it lets ALL the villagers know exactly HOW stupid they really are.

It can be argued that Free Speech has its drawbacks, but HOLY FUCK the benefits are worth the weight in gold of a THOUSAND Orly Taitzs'.

10. I have often wondered how they would know about his social security number. How
do they know anything about it, it's supposed to be confidential. Did they do something illegal to get it, or what they think is it.

13. One of the birthers got it illegally from what I have read
He claims to have represented himself as Obama to get a copy of the Selective Service records for Obama. Either this guy is openly admitting to fraudulently obtaining someone else's records, or he is lying so he can make the claim those records are real. I hope he swears to it in court and US Marshals are waiting to cart his ass off when he gets off the stand!

14. Oh god...you have to be pulling on my leg...
Could someone just DROWN this woman? I knew the release of the long-form birth certificate wasn't going to solve a fucking thing. I knew Orly would say it was planted in the department of vital records.

16. These judges who have to deal with her need to start locking her up for contempt.
Maybe that will make her cool her jets with all the frivolous lawsuits and abuse of the system.
