Regarding that revolting, gross anti-meat advert --

I block all of those ads so I won't have to look at that disgusting ad. Last time somebody asked in here about that repulsive ad, you said they might or might not renew it. Looks like they renewed it.

I wonder, how many DUers also block that particular ad and thus all of the other ads that appear over there? Do the other advertisers realize how many eyeballs they're losing because of that nauseating ad? And if they did realize it, how many do you think would be upset that they're not getting their money's worth?

Just something that's been bugging me.

1. I think the number of eyeballs lost because of that ad is pretty small.

The people most likely to block the ad are "heavy DU users" who rarely click on ads anyway. Advertisers are probably better off not paying for those pageviews anyway.

That ad is gross. Using your logic, if I were new to DU, I wouldn't want to come back to a web site that featured it.
