Here's a thought: Facebookize the Lounge to the extent of putting in a "Like" button
in place of Recommend. (Or in the form of a question, What would you think of facebookizing...) I thought of it for example in connection with Will Pitt's quitting smoking threads. I don't have anything to reply there except that I'm very proud of him, and that sounds rather silly as he's a total stranger to me in real life. Being able to Like the thread would be a useful solution, and the Recommend button and column are superfluous in the Lounge anyway unless y'all are going through with letting us make recommendations that won't come through to the Greatest page. Anyway, just a thought; no reply is needed unless you know where I lost my socks.

1. I think if we put the recommend function back in there
we'll probably just keep it more-or-less as-is (with some minor changes).
