Super Rich Smarmy uber 1-percenter, Willard Mitt Romney, calls $362,000 income, "not that much"
Edited on Tue Jan-17-12 11:46 AM by Divine Discontent
A corporation's dream candidate, Vulture Capitalist Willard M Romney, is so damned out-of-touch that he calls a year's income from speaking fees totalling $362,000, "not that much".

THIS is the shit that will make even the most understandably upset 2008 Obama voter reelect Mr Obama!

Mitt, go eat Shit!

"For the past 10 years, my income comes
overwhelmingly from investments made in
the past, rather than ordinary income or
earned annual income. I got a little bit of
income from my book, but I gave that all
away. Then, I get speakers fees from time to
time, but not very much."
Not very much? According to a report in
USA Today, over the course of a year,
Romney earned more than $362,000 in
speakers fees -- a period during which he
joked he was "unemployed."
His rival, Newt Gingrich, said that he made
$60,000 per speech -- defending himself
against the charge that he served as a
lobbyist for Freddie Mac, for which he was
paid over $1.6 million for strategic advice.
Romney has an estimated wealth of between
$190 million to $250 million, according to
financial disclosure reports. Upon leaving
Bain Capital in 1999, he negotiated a
retirement package guaranteeing him a
percentage of the firm's profits.

-----------

and the assholes in the repuke party have the idiotic audacity to call the Obamas arrogant? Mittens is a walking poster boy for someone that hard working Americans should despise!

2. What is this?
Some kind of asttempt to appear to be part of the struggling middle/lower class?

First $362,000 is a lot of money and Mitt neglects to mention that he has access to nearly a quarter of a billion dollars that is sitting there for him use whenever he wants, not to mention the accumulating interest and dividends that are piling up on all of that.

3. I wonder how many speaking events it took to make his pitiful 362K in a year.
Far less than 40 hours every week, no doubt.

4. Remember when Obama mentioned the price of arugula and the Media said he was out of touch?

So, where is that media on Willard's $362K just for some blah blah-ing periodically in one year is not that much?

Ask a coal miner how much an extra $362K a year is.
