Give it up Ed Perry is toast having Moore on won't save him.This is the same guy(Jim Moore) that said Perry was a pretty good debater.

1. Actually, if I remmeber correctly

he said that knowing Perry better will mkae people think of Bush as a Rhodes scholar. Which I found absurd at the time, but not any longer.

2. Umm... Jim Moore is no Perry sycophant... Do you know who he is?

He is co-author of Bush's Brain: How Karl Rove Made George W. Bush Presidential. His second book, Bush's War for Reelection included his groundbreaking ten year investigation into the president's National Guard record. Moore is also the author of The Architect: Karl Rove and the Master Plan for Absolute Power.

While he certainly does not fill the void left with Molly Ivin's passing, Moore and Jim Hightower remain the leading pundits to address what is really going on in Texas--from a liberal/progressive POV. I think he tries to be fair vis-a-vis Perry, but is certainly not a proponent.
