Mitt Romney Bushifies Rick Perry: Too Slow To Win? (Video)

Benjy Sarlin October 19, 2011, 4:55 PM

Mitt Romney’s campaign is going there, suggesting in a new video that Rick Perry might be a little too inarticulate to take on President Obama. The attack plays into one of Democrats’ top memes regarding Perry: that his style resembles a Saturday Night Live parody of George W. Bush.

Titled “Ready to Lead?” the video features some of Perry’s most rambling debate moments as well as some of the most brutal pundit reviews of his performance. “Perry really did throw up all over himself,” FOX News’ Brit Hume says in one clip. Take a look at the video below:

1. So, that is all Romney has? A typical MA republican
sleazeball and no core value.

(Not an endorsement of Perry by any way, just the fact Romney disgusts me deeply).

3. Yeah, I hate Perry but..
I think he'd annihilate Mitt one-on-one. Then again, who couldn't?

Also, ROMNEY is calling someone else inarticulate? His stuttering and bursts of wild eyed verbal diarrhea are just SO smooth.

6. I was kind of hoping Perry was gonna smack him in the teeth
But then he would just get a big sympathy backlash.
