According to CNN's polling:
http://i2.cdn.turner.com/cnn/2011/images/08/11/gop2012poll.pdf

Mitt comes in at 48 to Obama's 49, and Rudy 9-11 oddly wins at 51 to Obama's 45, the only Republican to beat Obama in their match-ups.

4. it's true. people don't realize how crazy those two are, and once people who don't pay any
attention until May or June start hearing them and their crazy ideas, then they'll drop. Crazy only sells to 40% unless a depression occurs. I suppose that could allow a crazy candidate to sway people, but they have to be great at speaking their propaganda.

I am not worried about Obama losing - I'm worried about Obama not fighting all out against these crazies and defending the working class against the tyranny of the rich.

9. Polls are only a snapshot in time which do not actually predict a final result.
But some people are hooked on this kind of mental self-stimulation...

16. A Perry/Guiliani Ticket?
That would be an interesting choice. Guiliani would help Perry a little in the NE.

21. National popularity polls are fun to look at and provide some snapshot of how things stand
but it's only the state-by-state polls that matter come election time.

22. One thing that sticks out to me.
Romney is in a dead heat with the President in the North East. I don't think that would hold up in the general election. HIs pro corporation attitude and anti unionism could be turned against him there.
