12. She is merely the 2011 version of 2007 Fred Thompson.

No worries, the money class isn't going to let her near the nomination.

4. I keep thinking about that line from the movie "The Andromeda Strain ..."
Dr. Jeremy Stone: "When the bomb goes off there'll be a thousand mutations! Andromeda will spread everywhere! They'll never be rid of it!"

If the media keep paying so much attention to Mrs. Crazypants ... we'll never be rid of her!

the issues that matter.
I predict she burns out, with her hubby's help.

I doubt she is even running mate material.

specifically what we would have had to cut from government to run it without incurring any future additional debt?

9. The MSM ask that? Not likely. It'd have to be during a debate
But even if the other GOP contenders want to knock her out, I'm not sure they'd want to open that door and have the question turned on them either.

11. They were figuring that she was going to win the Ames straw poll
But they didn't bet on Rick Perry's announcement this week. Oh well, maybe they'll salvage things by asking her how she feels about Perry jumping in right at this point, and they can get those looney-tunes eyes that she does for Newsweek.

wins today's silly pol because 1. even if I diasgree with 98% of what he says, I kind of like the way he sticks it to his R "friends" andmakes them uncomfortable, and 2. that would deflate the Bachman boomlet and make some of the interviews tomorrow actually amusing.

This being said, it's embarasisng how even these supposedly serious programs can waste time on her.

Edited to add one favorable thing about Bachman: she DOES agree to have these interviews (as opposed to you know who), and no, I don't think they will go gentle on her, whether she wins tonight or not.

Edited on Sun Aug-14-11 05:55 AM by RichGirl
It's not about accurate news reporting...it's all about ratings. They are trying to get the largest demographic...lazy and braindead...who have nothing more interesting to do then stare at the screen. Maybe they can score Casey Anthony on with Bachman...crazy and evil!

25. actually, I'm glad she won the Iowa primary....... since Iowa hasn't
hasn't elected a winner in there straw poll in YEARS......I don't even remember.....did they select Reagan in the straw poll?

Winning the Iowa straw poll is almost a kiss of death to a campaign.........the last several haven't even made their party's nominee.

GO IOWA/BACHMANN!

Bachman appears to not know what to do when she is at the top her entire shtick hinges on being the underdog.
