Trump: Karl Rove Is a "Loser" Who Should Retire
By Andy Kroll
| Mon Apr. 25, 2011 3:01 AM PDT.

Donald Trump clearly has no intention of buddying up with the Republican establishment. With his popularity ranking the highest among Republican presidential hopefuls in a recent Gallup poll, the New York real estate tycoon on Friday took a big swipe at GOP political mastermind Karl Rove, calling Rove "a loser" and suggesting he "go into retirement where he belongs."

Trump's jabs at Rove were part of a longer statement to conservative news site NewsMax.com. Here's the statement in full:

"Karl Rove is a loser. He is doing the Republican Party a great disservice by trying to stop the discussion about the president not being able to present his birth certificate to the American peopleor to assure the American people as to his place of birth. This is a great issue for Republicans, and I can tell you that the president is spending millions of dollars fighting this issue and he doesn't like it at all.

I also have great respect for the states considering legislation that would require a birth certificate, not a certificate of live birth, be mandatory in order for a candidate to appear on a presidential ballot in their state.

Karl Rove should go into retirement where he belongs. The old machinery is broken, and new and much smarter blood is needed."

2. Trump is neither new or smarter
That butt-faced rag headed mother fucker shouldn't be allowed to do business in the U.S. Everything he has made has been on the backs of other people. All he does is borrow the money to get it done, and if it fails, he defaults into bankruptcy. WHy anyone would loan the puke-faced bastard a dime is beyond me, but bankers are notoriously stupid.

6. He probably just pissed off the wrong person
if he wants to run as a repuke. Rove has a lot of methods to ruin a person, and I'm sure he wouldn't mind using a few on Trump.

13. Karl Rove won two presidential elections. Trump will win none.
WE wish Rove would retire. We wish he had done so in 1998.

Trump would get 40% of the vote if nominated because anyone would,
if running as the Republican nominee. So what? Lenin would get 40%
of the vote if his name appeared on the Republican ticket. Adolf Hitler
would get 40% of the vote if his name appeared on the Republican ticket.

The only thing Trump, Lenin and Hitler would have in common is that
they'd lose the election.

17. You are absolutely correct
Trump is a businessman who went bankrupt several times: Rove is a Machiavellian political kingmaker who twice won the presidency for his candidate, once even when he did not have a popular majority! as much as they are both assholes, Rove is the more formidable and accomplished asshole.

16. Maybe Rove could buy a casino and run it into the ground
I know exactly where Karl could get solid advice on how to do that.

20. Rove understands enough that playing the race card/stupidity card
Edited on Tue Apr-26-11 02:20 PM by Jefferson23
as Trump has, will hurt Republicans. Every time Trump's percentage points go up it reaffirms
on one level the racism that exists in the Republican party and it's not pleasant.

I have to admit watching them eat each other alive is satisfying. On the other hand, I am
quite angry watching Trump on MSM not being called out on his racist tactics to score points...but when
does MSM tv land ever do their job?

I have heard CNN try and say he does not have a credible
case, but I have not heard them call him out directly about the racist
nature of his attacks on Obama with the only exception being Jonathan Toobin...well that I am aware of.
