DU Kucinich lovers will just love this photo

Oh yeah! Taking that Murdoch money and trashing Obama! Oh yeah! Impeaching the Democratic President is such a cool idea!

Thank you Rupert Murdoch! You gave Dennis money!

Oh yeah!

1. Thank you for exposing Dennis Kucinich for the Murdoch tool he is. Ralph Nader no doubt approves.

2. It looks like Fox News staff gave special lighting for Dennis
He looks so fucking cute. Fox News sure knows how to make ugly people look good.

3. Fox is using him
Fox wants to stir up discord on the left and in the Democratic Party so of course they will roll out the welcome carpet for any left wing critic of the president to have a sounding board.

5. Hold on. Let's not title STUPIDITY as NAIVITE. Kucinich knows what Fox is about.
Edited on Tue Mar-29-11 12:17 AM by vaberella
He's doing it on purpose, end of story. They give him the outlet to spew his BS and maybe some money. And they get a liberal who's speaking out against Obama and who's painting Obama as not only a war criminal. But also a tyrant. That's what they want and they're getting it. And Kucinich is helping them along for his own reasons---and I find them to be more so nefarious than actually sincere.

4. Another beautiful photo of Dennis on Fox News trashing Democrats

Wow. What a stud. Nice lighting. Nice full wallet of Murdoch money. He looks SO HAPPY!

6. "He looks SO HAPPY!"
That was the first thing that came to my mind. He does look not only happy but excited. That's interesting that underneath it says Republicans call for End to "spending binge"---I had to wonder if Kucinich is a Republican, now.

8. Your last post on the topic was locked,
perhaps because, in clearly suggesting that Kucinich's criticism of Obama is financially motivated, you violated rules against cheap, sleazy smears. Good luck with this new, more subtle, approach.

11. What subtlety? Kucinich is in plain view smiling as a Fox News guest.
What's his excuse? To help make sure they keep their "Fair and Balanced" title?

15. Because he's the President of the U.S., speaking to the American people
Edited on Tue Mar-29-11 12:31 AM by CakeGrrl
regardless of the media outlet.

Kucinich, who's obviously in the recent news for saying the President's actions could be impeachable, is a tool being used by Fox News to help discredit the President by showing how much the Left doesn't even want him in office. That is probably the only reason they asked him.

That should be clear to most thinking people.

17. The President of the U.S. needs to speak to the American people through...Fox News?
Edited on Tue Mar-29-11 12:33 AM by brentspeak
A presidential interview with O'Reilly which naturally generated massive amounts of revenue for Fox -- thereby enabling Fox to further cut down the Democratic party?

Who's the tool, again?

23. The President presides over the ENTIRE country. Get it?
Even the nimrods who watch Fox News. They denigrate him every chance they get, but he stays true to the responsibilities of his office.

Kucinich is only there because he gave the Right some juicy red impeachment meat - even better coming from the President's own party. It gives it more credibility.

It really shouldn't be this hard to grasp.

25. Ok, so we can agree that Obama helped to defeat the Democrats
Edited on Tue Mar-29-11 01:01 AM by brentspeak
because his appearances on Fox generated a great deal of income which enabled Fox to trash the Democrats even more. Now the Republicans control the House, and Obama feels he has to lean to the right even more than he did before.

Q.E.D.

32. Yes, three years before Obama became President, and five years after he left office
Edited on Tue Mar-29-11 01:42 AM by brentspeak
was when Clinton stupidly agreed to a Fox News interview. But he wasn't a sitting Democratic president doing an interview with them and generating ratings -- unlike Obama.

So -- wrong, yet again.

20. I guess you are unaware that you get paid by Fox News to go on their shows
Edited on Tue Mar-29-11 12:51 AM by zulchzulu
It's pretty common knowledge to those of us who have worked in the media and know about how Fox News operates.

They pay for interviews and certainly amp it up if a Democrat is willing to trash another Democrat. Throw in an additional bonus if they say they want their fellow Democrat impeached.

Dennis is doing very, very well.

26. I want to see proof for that claim
FOX News pays money to interviewees? Tiers of money are arranged for Democratic-damaging content based on what you say while on this paid interview? Citing "common knowledge" is not enough for such egregious claims.

21. At a minimum, it's wrongheaded. But Kucinich was trolling for campaign contributions
directly on the heels of gaining the public spotlight for the "impeachable" comments.

He's not without his own opportunistic streak, IMO.

27. A Democrat going on Fox News and getting paid to call for impeaching a Democrat is Fox News Gold!
Yeah, there have been other Democrats on Fox News.

Give me the count of how many were calling for his impeachment because they were dumbass twits who play the role of utopian pacifists while yanking on the Murdoch coin.

There is only one person who would be that despicable.

Eleanor Roosevelt once said, "Great minds discuss ideas... Small minds discuss people."

On Democratic Underground we strive to have a robust discussion of ideas but all too often members will derail those discussions by pointing fingers at or making derogatory comments about other DU members. It is the responsibility of every DU member to participate in a manner that promotes a robust and respectful discussion focused on ideas.

Thank you
