RePUGS on the road to implosion IF D's get LOUD and CLEAR.
Edited on Tue Feb-01-11 09:04 PM by rbilancia
RePUKES won in 2010 for two reasons: economy and enthusiasm. Plain and simple. (Yes, outside money helped too, but it was mainly as I say.) The economy was down, and Americans were frustrated. Also their base was more enthusiastic and they had high turnout. Indies returned to them because of frustration over the economy.

They were hired by Indies to address economic concerns. What did the Indies get for their votes? They got MALAISE, an insistence on tax cuts for billionaires, healthcare repeal grandstanding, talk of privatizing Medicare and SS, and now a bill to deny abortion in the event of rape. This is NOT what the people voted for. They got all this right wing crazyland shit instead of pragamatic plans to reform government and create jobs. And I LOVE IT. That is, IF the Dems get loud, clear, united, and exploit these whackos as the nutjobs they are at every turn. The TeaPublicans are going off their meds bigtime with all this crap, motivating our base bigtime, and already sending Indies back to Obama in droves.

We have a wonderful opportunity to send these crazy douche bags packing bigtime in less than two short years because Indies want what Obama said in the SOTU address: innovation, education, infracture, and reasoned fiscal responsibility, and NOT TeaBag crazyland idiocy that has NOTHING to do with creating jobs.

PS: By the end of the year, I think we will be beclow 9% unemployment and falling. Look at 4% growth this year, and starting with 140,000 new jobs in Jan. Not enough yet, but a decent start all things considered. Charlotte is a GOOD place to have the convention, and I predict Obama wins the election in 2012 with 53-55%. And we need to stick crazyland to the TeaPubs like super glue.

1. Good points
And also: their party is now experiencing this divide between the simply crazy and the batshit, AND FOX is losing more viewers and sponsors every week.

We're going to have a fractured 25% of the population, angry (and sometimes armed) who no longer know where to direct that anger. In my rare moments of semi-optimism, at least 10% of them can be awakened. The rest are racist douches.
